Public beta terms

Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the CloseoutSnap website or create a report. Please use the beta only if you agree to them.

Last updated: July 22, 2026

1. What CloseoutSnap does

CloseoutSnap is a browser-based utility that helps users organize job details, notes, photos, and an optional customer acknowledgment into a PDF. It is not a field-service-management system, invoice, contract, inspection certificate, permit, engineering opinion, safety certification, or legal recordkeeping service.

2. Public beta

The service is in public beta. Features may change, fail, or be unavailable. Keep your own copies of completed PDFs and any original photos or records. Do not rely on an unfinished browser draft as your only copy.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Use CloseoutSnap only for lawful purposes and information you have permission to use.
  • Obtain any customer, worker, property-owner, or site permission required before taking photos, collecting a signature, or sharing a report.
  • Review every PDF for accuracy and completeness before sending or relying on it.
  • Follow the contracts, policies, laws, codes, permits, safety rules, and professional requirements that apply to your work.
  • Do not use the service to upload malware, violate another person's rights, or misrepresent work that was not performed.

4. Your content

You keep your rights in the information and photographs you use. You give CloseoutSnap only the limited permission needed for the browser-based tool to process that content and create the report you request. The beta is designed not to intentionally upload report contents to CloseoutSnap's servers.

5. Availability and warranties

The beta is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, CloseoutSnap disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that a report will satisfy a customer, employer, insurer, regulator, court, or other third party.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CloseoutSnap and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost business, lost data, or claims arising from a user's work, report, photos, device, browser storage, or reliance on the beta. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so these limits apply only as far as the law allows.

7. Changes and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue the beta and may update these terms as the product develops. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. We may block abusive or unlawful use.
