Privacy Notice

CloseoutSnap is designed so the contents of your job report stay on the device where you create it. This notice explains what stays local, what limited usage data we collect, and the choices you have.

Last updated: July 22, 2026

The short version

  • No account is required for the public report builder.
  • Your customer names, job details, captions, photos, signature, and PDF contents are processed in your browser and are not intentionally uploaded to or stored by CloseoutSnap.
  • Your unfinished draft may be stored in that browser's local storage so you can resume it on the same device.
  • We collect limited anonymous product-usage events to understand whether the beta works.
  • We do not sell personal information or use report contents for advertising or AI training.

Report information

Information entered into the report builder—including company and customer details, jobsite information, notes, photos, captions, and signatures—is used by code running in your browser to create the PDF. CloseoutSnap does not intentionally send that content to its analytics database.

If you use your phone, tablet, or computer's keyboard dictation, speech recognition is provided by that device. Its provider may process your speech to turn it into text under its own privacy terms. CloseoutSnap does not record or store the audio; only the resulting text becomes part of your local report draft.

A draft can remain in local browser storage on your device. Anyone who can use that browser profile may be able to reopen it. Download the completed PDF for your records, then use New report to clear the draft before handing the device to someone else.

Anonymous usage data

We record a random browser-session identifier and events such as page view, report started, number of before or after photos added, PDF created, downloaded, opened, shared, or failed, feedback clicks, and Pro-interest clicks. We also record the page path, broad device type, referring website domain, event quantity, and time.

We do not add customer names, job details, captions, signatures, photographs, or PDF contents to these analytics events. The random session identifier is used to count a visit and is not an account.

Infrastructure and security

CloseoutSnap uses infrastructure providers to deliver the website and store the limited analytics described above. Those providers may process ordinary technical request information, such as an IP address and browser headers, to deliver and secure the service or maintain operational logs. CloseoutSnap does not add IP addresses to its product-analytics records.

No internet service is risk-free. Avoid entering payment-card details, government identification numbers, medical information, access credentials, or other highly sensitive information into a beta report.

Your choices

  • Do not use the report builder if you do not want the browser to store a local draft.
  • Use New report to clear the current draft from CloseoutSnap's browser storage.
  • Browser settings can clear local site data, but doing so may delete an unfinished draft.
  • You can contact us to ask a privacy question or request deletion of analytics reasonably associated with information you provide in the request. Because analytics are intentionally anonymous, we may not be able to identify a particular session.

Children and changes

CloseoutSnap is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this notice as the product changes. The date above will change when we make a material update.
